Our Story: Two decades ago, in 2004, a passionate collective from Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) united with a shared vision: to enrich the community by providing a platform for young Cook Islanders to reconnect with their cultural heritage through language, dance, drumming, and song. What began as a nurturing space for cultural exploration soon blossomed into a vibrant hub, catering to public demand for captivating performances at private functions and corporate events.
Our Mission: Our journey started as a haven where parents could bring their children and teenagers to learn the traditional melodies, chants, and dance movements of the Cook Islands. From mastering the art of swaying hips to the intricate footwork, we've been dedicated to preserving and sharing our rich cultural heritage.
Our Team: Through the years, our group has evolved from its humble beginnings into what it is today: a thriving dance studio for the young and eager, and a supportive environment for both teenagers and seasoned dancers to refine and deepen their passion for the art of dance.
